Malatesta Tyres are produced in Italy abnd have been in production since 1946.  The company specialise in 

retreading tyres.  Malatesta as a company have the capacbilities to retreading passenger car tyres, 4x4 tyres and Industrial tyres.  Malatesta tyres are very popular within the 4x4 market.  They are known to create very capacble off-orad tyres that work well in all conditions.  Although Malatesta tyres are not available in many countries they are very popular in Italy and other countries throughout europe.

Many people favour retread tyres especially in the 4x4 market as it is much cheaper than getting brand new tyres.

Your tyre size guide

If you don’t know what you’re looking for, look at the diagram below:

Your tyre size is on the sidewall of the tyre, the sidewall of the tyre is the part that you can see when you look at your tyre on your vehicle.

On the sidewall you will see a series of numbers, these numbers are the actual size of your tyre.

If you look at the picture below we have highlighted the Width, Profile, Rim Size, Load Rating & Speed Rating.

A Tyre width

the width of the tyre, measured in millimetres.

B Tyre profile

The height of a tyre sidewall as a precentage of the width.

C Tyre size

The diametre of the wheel's inner rim, measured in inches.

D Speed rating

Indicates the maximum speed for the tyre.
